The committed suspects are facing charges of Murder, terrorism and aggravated defilement for which they will formally plead to before a panel of 3 justices.

The DPP says at the trial in the High court, he will adduce evidence to the effect   that on the 17th/March 2017 at Kulambiro in Nakawa division with in Kampala city, the suspects conspired together to murder AIGP Kaweesi, his body guard Kenneth Erau and driver Godfrey Wambewa.

The 8 suspects have also been returned back to Luzira prison waiting to appear before the 3 judges at the next convenient criminal session of the ICD court.
